We are a brand committed to promote experiences that value a life immersed in nature and that build a more sustainable future. We believe it is possible to make a difference by running a business responsibly, encouraging a conscious market, and fostering reflection on the impact of each individual on the environment. We are convinced that the initiative to make the world a better place is in our hands, and that together we can further expand this philosophy.

PRODUCTION

ENSEADA RIO embraces the "slow fashion" movement: a fashion practice that values quality and diversity, prioritizes local over global, and emphasizes the use of natural, recyclable, and/or biodegradable resources.

Our products are domestically crafted by local artisans and seamstresses and blend comfort and elegance, always in harmony with nature. Furthermore, we seek partnerships with companies that adopt sustainable practices within the workplace, such as water reuse and the avoidance of toxic or harmful substances to human health and nature, for example. Every detail is carefully thought out, tells a story, and carries meanings that pay homage to our city and country.

MATERIALS

BIODEGRADABLE POLYAMIDE: "a pioneering technology in the world":

The biodegradable polyamide used in the production of ENSEADA RIO bikinis and swimsuits is composed of Amni Soul Eco fibers: a 100% Brazilian technology that biodegrades in up to 3 years if discarded in well-controlled landfills: a decomposition process 50 times faster than conventional methods.

The fabric has a smooth and stretchy appearance, ensuring a soft, flexible, and comfortable feel against the body. Additionally, it is free from toxic substances harmful to human skin and features UV 50+ protection technology and permanent anti-odor properties.

ORGANIC COTTON / RECYCLED PET POLYESTER

Our T-shirts are made from natural and recycled fabrics, colored using 100% natural dye.

Organic cotton is a sustainable fabric sourced from plantations that use less water and energy in their management and are free from pesticides and herbicides, reducing damage to soil, the environment, and humans.

According to IBAMA (Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources of Brazil, as known as "Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis"), a PET bottle takes from 200 to 600 years to decompose in the environment. Fortunately, transforming all these waste materials into useful materials is already a reality. Recycled PET polyester gives a second life to a material that would otherwise be discarded in landfills or the ocean. A study by the English NGO "Ocean Conservancy" reports that 8 million tons of plastic are dumped into the seas every year, in addition to the 150 million already circulating in marine environments. For ENSEADA RIO, being part of the change would only make sense if sustainability aligned with our values.

LINEN AND VISCOSE

The materials chosen for our shirts boast durability, strength, and breathability as their main advantages, along with their anti-allergic and thermodynamic properties. The fabric provides a light and sophisticated touch, making the product a choice for horizons beyond the coastline.
