Born and raised in the water, the Rio-born sisters Nicole and Amanda have always been deeply connected to nature. Undoubtedly, this connection becomes even stronger when they are in contact with the sea, a place they have the privilege enough to call their second home.
Destined to explore the seas and dive into marine life, they realized that the ocean is the perfect representation of life itself: a blend of calm and turmoil, beauty and mystery, adventure and vastness.
Their passion for saltwater stems from long, countless days of sunshine in a deserted and sunny cove on the Rio de Janeiro coast, where they grew up smelling the sea breeze, feeling the freshness of the breeze, and experiencing the strength of the currents.
From a very young age, they learned that the bottom of the sea goes far beyond beauty and its variations of colors and, therefore, must be preserved. Through this philosophy, the two have always seen the importance of environmental conservation and the impact that each individual has on the planet.
As the summers passed, the desire to share such love and respect for nature grew increasingly. And so, they had the idea of creating a brand that epitomized summer, Rio, and everything they believe in. It was only fair to call it ENSEADA RIO.
